This gentle yoga class provides an opportunity for new moms to regain strength and flexibility, to bond with their baby, and connect with other moms.
Postures will pay special attention on strengthening the back, abdomen and pelvic floor, as well as relieving tension in areas such as neck, shoulders, and back. Postures will stretch and strengthen tight muscles, while breath work, and relaxation exercises help moms feel rejuvenated, and refreshed. Moms(and dads too) have a chance to interact with baby during the yoga practice, learning potential exercises to do at home. Participants will have the opportunity to bond and gain supportive friendships with other new moms in a comfortable “go with the flow” setting.
No previous yoga experience is required and is welcome to dads and caregivers too!
