This Beginner class has the absolute beginner in mind. It is designed for everyone to help restore physical and mental balance in a gentle, meditative way. The focus is an introduction to basic yoga poses and healthy alignment with the incorporation of yogic breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques-great for stress relief and overall relaxation! This class will allow new students to develop their practice at a comfortable pace while allowing more experienced students to reconnect to a beginners mind.
Gentle Yoga is an easy approach to a yoga practice that is slow and steady, and incorporates yoga props to support the body to help elongate the spine, stretch and lengthen the body. Poses can be customized to suit each student's individual needs. The class is fitting for students who are new to yoga, and students who want to have a less rigorous and more relaxing practice. You will feel open, relaxed and clear; ready for the rest of your evening and deep, restful sleep!
Slow FLow & Restorative Yoga
A 60 Minute Slow Flow and Restorative class. A slow, mellow flow followed by restorative work to relax and release deep layers of tension. The support of yoga props (bolsters, blankets, and blocks), guided breath work, and passive, nourishing postures lying down. By moving mindfully with intention and breath then creating stillness and quiet in the body and mind, we will balance the nervous system, release layers of tension, and restore at a physical, energetic, and emotional level. -Beginner friendly and a great way to unwind from the week.
All Levels Yoga
A fun and invigorating yoga class, based on linking movement with breath. An energizing flow infused with sun salutations, standing postures and some of the more basic arm balances, inversions and back bends. Each instructor brings their own unique music and their approach to new and interesting postures; no two classes are the same! Basic yoga knowledge is recommended for a more enjoyable experience, but all stages of the postures are explained with modifications provided so that all levels feel welcome.fort level.
Mixed Mat Pilates
Mixed Mat Pilates is a mat based class that will consist of basic yet challenging floor exercises that highlight strength, precision and flow of movement. We will be using various props to intensify the workout while focusing on the mind/body connection. This class will explore traditional mat pilates, yoga and various core strengthening exercises. Each class is designed with modifications so all levels are welcome and will be challenged safely.
